We now have 3 2010 Camaros available in our showroom. All are 2SS models with the RS package. The Silver Ice Metallic one has ground effects, custom wheels, and every other available option other than a sunroof. The Inferno Orange one is considered used because it has 594 miles on it. It has everything including the Inferno Orange interior accent package and a sunroof along with the stripe that runs the length of the top of the vehicle. The Victory red one is the standard 2SS package with the RS modifications. Cash for Clunkers, part Deux

So everybody and their mother came out for "Clunker" days this past month. It was definitely a great move on the part of the federal government. The car business has not seen business like that for a very long time. The only problem that most people had with it was that not everyone qualified for the program. Some people had a gap in their insurance coverage, while others had bought the car just about 11 months ago and hadn't owned it long enough. The hardest cases we saw were when people would come in driving a vehicle that we knew couldnt be getting 18 miles per gallon, but the official website www.cars.gov said that it did and we couldn't do anything to help those people. I mean $4500 on a car worth $250 was a big deal, especially if by purchasing this car they would end up saving money on gas in the long run.
Yes, it was the best of times, and for some it was not necessarily the worst of times. GM decided to reopen plants and hire workers back in production plants along with running more shifts just to meet the demand that this congressional movement placed automakers. What a selection there was. Our customers had their choice of Aveos, Silverados, Cobalts, Colorados, Malibus, Equinoxes, Impalas, some Avalanches, and even the new Camaros. Life was good for those whose vehicles were guzzling down the gasoline. But when the money ran out, a lot of people who had planned on making something happened were left high and dry.
We came up with a solution. We found a way to keep it going. We came up with our own "Cash for Clunkers" incentive program. The requirements are a little more relaxed than what the federal government required for their version. Here's the details:

1. Up to $4500 can be added to the Actual Cash Value of the trade in.
2. The vehicle being traded must be 2006 or older.
3. The new (or used) vehicle being purchased must get at least 2 mpg more than the trade in
4. There's no max MSRP for the vehicle being purchased.
5. The additional trade in money is based on Kelly Blue Book Fair trade in value. If there's a 2 mpg increase, we add 10% to the KBB Fair value on your trade in. If there's a 5 mpg increase, we add 15% to the KBB Fair value.
6. The trade in can still have a payoff.
7. The trade in must have a clean title (no salvage or junk titles).
8. The trade in must have been owned for at least 6 months.

We feel that these conditions open the program up for a larger audience. The government run program required the vehicle to be newer than 25 years old. It also capped the MSRP at $45000 and said you couldnt get a used vehicle. That same program also required the vehicle to be completely paid off. The stipulations for the incentive program that we made lets almost anybody get something more for their trade. If you think you would like to participate, definitely give us a call just come on in. We would love to bring you in to the Burns family of completely satisfied vehicle owners.

1 Available 2010 Camaro HERE

So originally there was a 6 month wait on all 2010 Camaros. GM hadn't made enough to meet demand, so there was at least a 6-month wait on all of the brand new Camaros. For some reason, one of the pre-sold deals we had on this Camaro fell through the day that it arrived on the lot. It's funny how these things turn out. This beauty may not be available at the end of the day. If you are interested and want to see if it's still available, contact Seth Clossman at (803) 366-9414 x. 117. Probably one of the only places you can get one for a good price RIGHT NOW! Amazing how things turn out. Also pretty amazing how just the picture of the car is pretty incredible. This was taken on an overcast day outside with a phone camera. Somehow it still looks beautiful. Wow.
